2:00 – 3:00 Welcome and cordage making mini-workshop

Arrive, enjoy light refreshments, explore basketry projects from the book, and learn how to make cordage using basswood fiber with the help of Katie and her longtime basketry students.

3:00 – 3:45 Slideshow and Q&A

A reading from the book and a slideshow with stories and behind-the-scenes photos from its creation, followed by a Q&A.

3:45 – ? Book signing and visiting

Get your copy of Weaving Wild Baskets signed, browse the baskets, talk basketry, and enjoy the atmosphere at the beautiful Full Circle Commons. Bentons restaurant is located in the plaza if you would like to stay for an early dinner afterward.
